Field team tracking

See where the field team went, and when

Built on planned visits and geofenced check-ins, not on watching people all day.

In short

Tracking gives supervisors one dashboard for the field team: who checked in, at which customer, at what time, and how the day moved. It reads the same visit plans, check-ins and location log the Sales and CRM modules write, so nothing is entered twice. Reports cover a person, a branch or a date range.

How it works

Location that answers a question, and stops there

Field tracking earns its place when it settles a dispute and nothing more. The policy is set first, on purpose: what is recorded, when, and for how long.

What happensWorking hours, the retention period and the trigger are configured before anybody is tracked. What it carries inSet once, per zone, and shown to the employee.
And all of this is already true
A claim can be checked in secondsPlanned against actual, with the distance and the time on the record.
Tracking stops at the end of the shiftBecause the policy says so, and the policy is the setting, not a promise.
Visits feed the pipelineA verified visit is activity against the deal, so coverage is measurable.
Data does not accumulate for everRetention is a number in the policy — ninety days by default.

  1. One screen for the whole team, today

A branch manager with fourteen people on the road does not want fourteen chat threads.

  2. What is actually recorded

Location is captured when a field person checks in and checks out of a planned visit from the mobile app, and the check-in is accepted only within about 100 metres of the customer location.

  3. Reports the review meeting can use

Visit compliance, coverage of the assigned territory and the gap between plan and actual are the three numbers a field review needs.

Questions

Tracking: what buyers ask

No. Location is recorded around the check-in and check-out of planned visits from the mobile app, and the location log holds those points. It is a visit record, not a continuous background trace. Tell your team exactly that, because a tracking rollout succeeds or fails on whether people believe what it does.
