Q: Why should we trust a comparison written by Unnati?

Partly, you should not — read it knowing who wrote it. What we can offer is checkability: every claim about another product is sourced to that vendor’s own page, the dates are printed, and each comparison names the things the other product does better than ours. If you find something inaccurate, tell us and we will correct it.

Q: Do you compare Unnati with Marg, Busy or Vyapar?

Not yet. We only publish a comparison when we have read enough of the other vendor’s documentation to be accurate about it, and a page we cannot evidence is worse than no page at all. If a product you are evaluating is not here, ask us and we will tell you what we know and what we do not.

Every vendor comparison you will read was written by one of the vendors, including this one. The useful question is not whether it is biased — it is whether it tells you anything you could not have guessed, and whether it admits what the other product does better.

So each page here carries a section on where the alternative wins, written to be genuinely useful rather than to look balanced. If one of those sections describes your business, buy the other product. We would rather that than a customer who leaves in a year.

No claimed absences we have not checkedIf we have not verified whether a product does something, the page says to check with the vendor. An overview page not mentioning a feature is not evidence the feature is missing.

No invented numbersNo benchmarks, no performance claims about anyone else’s software, no customer counts we cannot source, and no assertion that Unnati is the best ERP.

Re-read before every editCompetitor products change. A comparison written once and left alone becomes untrue by sitting still, so each page carries the date its sources were last checked.

Which ERP is best for an Indian SME?

There is no single answer, and a vendor claiming otherwise is selling. TallyPrime is hard to beat if your need is accounting and GST and you want offline working. ERPNext is the strongest choice if you want open source and have someone to run it. Odoo is the broadest if you need ecommerce and marketing alongside operations. Unnati suits an Indian business that wants operations — stock, production, quality, sales, POS, people — in one product with one vendor.
