ERP for distributors, traders and wholesalers
For traders, distributors and wholesalers
Unnati is a cloud ERP for Indian distributors and traders that runs stock across godowns, price lists by customer, the full GST document chain with IRN and e-way bill, and outstanding recovery. Your field team raises orders from the mobile app against the same stock and pricing the office sees.
Stock you can trust, money you have collected.
Distribution is a margin business run on volume, so the two things that hurt are stock you cannot trust and money you have already earned but not collected.
Unnati fixes both from one place. Stock is held by warehouse and bin with cycle counting and reorder levels, and every invoice posts to accounting straight away, so the outstanding report reflects what was actually billed today.
See the inventory moduleThe three leaks in a distribution business
Stock on the system and stock in the godown disagree.
Cycle count lets you verify a bin or a category without stopping the business, and stock history shows exactly which document moved a quantity. Rejected stock and QC stock stay out of the sellable figure.
For example: Bluestone Traders counts one aisle of North Depot every Friday. A shortfall is traced to a delivery challan raised twice, and the correction is visible in stock history.
Every customer has been promised a different rate.
Price lists, item pricing with history and customer discount categories keep the agreed rate on the customer rather than in a salesperson’s memory. The rate that applies is the rate that prints on the invoice.
For example: Silverleaf Agencies buys on a dealer price list while Redstone Distributors buys on a wholesale one. Both orders are raised on the mobile app and neither needs a phone call to confirm the rate.
Nobody chases outstanding until it is very old.
Outstanding is a live screen, not a month-end exercise, because sales invoices post to accounting as they are raised. Receipts, payments and payment batches close the loop, and the field team can see who owes what before a visit.
For example: A field executive opens a visit plan and sees an overdue amount against the customer before walking in, so the collection conversation happens on the same trip as the order.
Every company, person and item code above is invented for illustration. We do not publish customer names or figures without written permission.

What you switch on for this
Every module is included in the subscription, so these are simply the ones this kind of business switches on first. Follow a link to read what each module does in detail.
What Unnati does not do here yet
Bank feeds and GSTR-2A or 2B reconciliation are on the roadmap. Today bank transactions are recorded in the accounting module, and GST returns are validated against your own books before filing.
