Ten things Unnati does that most Indian ERPs do not
Every ERP claims to do everything. The useful question is which parts are genuinely built rather than named on a slide. These ten are the ones we will defend on a call, each with a concrete example — followed by an equally plain list of what Unnati does not do yet.

The batch survives the whole document chain
Most systems record a batch at production and lose it by the time the challan prints. In Unnati the batch travels from goods receipt through the sales order, proforma invoice, sales invoice and delivery challan, and an upstream edit propagates downstream through an approve or reject workflow.
For example: Crestline Pharma dispatches one order from two batches of Demo Buffer Salt (DM-3101). Both appear on the challan and the invoice, so a recall search finds every customer who received either.

Check-in and check-out are accepted only inside a 100 metre geofence around the customer location. Visit plans, my visits and the location log are product screens, and a supervisor verifies the visit rather than taking it on trust.
For example: An executive checks in at Meridian Care at 11.20 and out at 11.55. The supervisor sees both stamps on the tracking dashboard alongside the order raised during the visit.

GST returns are validated against your own books before you file. E-invoice IRNs and e-way bills go through NIC from the sales invoice. TDS has its own sections, and the 24-hour IRN cancellation window is enforced rather than documented.
For example: A user without the e-invoice permission can raise an invoice but cannot generate its IRN, so the compliance step stays with the person who is accountable for it.

Operation QC and manufacturing order QC gate completion, so an order cannot close with a check outstanding. Calibration plans, calibration events, nonconformance, corrective action and retained samples are records, not attachments.
For example: A run of Demo Reagent 1L (DM-1048) stays in QC stock until release, so it never shows as available to promise on a sales order.

The payroll engine separates the person who prepares a run from the person who releases it. Advances, adjustments, paycheck transactions and expenses all feed the same run, and the disbursement carries a maker-checker step.
For example: An HR executive prepares the month and a director releases it. The audit trail records both actions with their timestamps.

Every change is written to a log where each entry is linked to the one before it, so an edit made outside the application is detectable. Role and permission based access, multiple branches, multiple currencies and import or export sit alongside it.
For example: When a rate on a dispatched invoice is questioned six months later, you can show who changed what and when, rather than reconstructing it from memory.

KOT, kitchen display, restaurant tables, recipes, variants, loyalty rules, coupons, offers and happy hours run at the counter, and a khata-style customer ledger keeps regular credit customers on the books. Each bill posts its accounting entry natively.
For example: Selling ten portions consumes the recipe quantities from Demo Warehouse and posts the sale to the ledger without a night-time import.

Taskify carries boards, sprints, dependencies, checklists, recurrence, timers, time logs, billing rates, timesheets, templates and automation rules. Services teams bill from the same log they work in.
For example: A consultant logs four hours on a task; the billing rate on that workspace turns it into a line on the timesheet the client sees.

The web app is the full product. The Electron desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux adds USB and thermal printing through a local print agent. The Flutter app for Android and iOS covers stock, purchase, sales and production with push notifications.
For example: A dispatch desk prints a thermal challan from the desktop app while the same order is updated from a phone in the godown.

Unnati Academy holds over 200 interactive lessons that simulate the real screens, so a new joiner learns by clicking through the actual workflow rather than reading a manual that went stale two releases ago.
For example: A new store keeper completes the inward stock and GRN lessons before touching live data, and the same lessons are there when a refresher is needed.

What Unnati does not do yet
A buying decision made on an incomplete list becomes an argument six months later. Here is what is genuinely missing today, so you can decide whether it matters to you.
- Single sign-on with SAML or OAuth2 is not available. Users sign in with their own credentials and two-factor authentication protects our control panel.
- The POS needs a working internet connection. Offline billing and a mobile POS are on the roadmap.
- There is no public API marketplace, webhook system or SDK yet, so integrations are the ones listed on our integrations page.
- Material requirements planning, serial-number tracking and kitting are on the roadmap. Planning today works from the BOM, reorder levels and the production plan.
- Bank feeds and GSTR-2A or 2B reconciliation are on the roadmap. Bank transactions are recorded in the accounting module, and GST returns are validated against your books.
- Statutory payroll filings such as ECR, Form 16 and 24Q are on the roadmap. Payroll calculates and disburses; the filings are still made in your usual way.
If one of these is a blocker for you, say so on the call. We would rather lose the sale than fix it after you have paid.

Including us. If a vendor cannot answer these plainly, that is the answer.
