Which modules does Unnati include?

Fifteen modules: organisation settings, HRMS and payroll, stock and inventory, CRM and field sales, purchase, work orders and tickets, sales with the full GST document chain, accounting with GST and TDS, production, quality control, POS and restaurant, Taskify for projects and timesheets, field team tracking, documentation with Unnati Academy, and site project management.

Is Unnati suitable for a business with ten people?

Yes, because you switch on only the modules you need. A ten-person distributor may run stock, sales and accounting and nothing else. The same platform scales up when you add production, quality or a field team later.

Question 4

Does Unnati replace our accounting software?

Accepted Answer

It can. Accounting in Unnati holds the chart of accounts, transactions, ledger, journal entries, receipts, payments, bank transactions, TDS and GST returns, and the entries post from the same sales, purchase and stock documents your team already raises.

Question 5

Does Unnati handle GST e-invoicing and e-way bills?

Yes. E-invoice IRNs and e-way bills are raised through NIC from the sales invoice itself. E-invoicing applies to businesses above the current turnover threshold, which was ₹5 crore at the time of writing, so please check the latest notification. An IRN can be cancelled within 24 hours, and that rule is enforced in the product.

Can we import our existing data from Tally or Excel?

Yes. Unnati has an Import and Export Data screen in the organisation module, which is how masters such as items, customers, vendors and opening balances come in from a spreadsheet. We help map the columns during onboarding rather than leaving you with a template and good wishes.

Who can see what?

Accepted Answer

Access is role and permission based, per user and per branch, and it goes down to individual actions such as raising an e-invoice. Every change is written to a hash-chained audit log, so the record of who did what is tamper-evident.

Where is our data kept and how is it protected?

Accepted Answer

Data moves over encrypted connections, backups are taken on a regular schedule, and access is controlled by role. The control panel used by our own team requires two-factor authentication. We hold no security certification today and we do not claim one. The security page sets out the full position.

How does pricing work?

Every module is included, and the estimate is per user: a rough ₹300 per user per month for a minimum of 10 users, multiplied by twelve, plus GST at 18 per cent. Terms are annual. It is a rough estimate: we discuss the final price with you personally, discounts are available, and we confirm the figure in writing.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, and it is self-serve. Sign up with a work email, verify it by one-time password, add your company and address and choose your modules. Trial length depends on the plan you pick, so ask us to confirm the number of days for your module mix.

Does Unnati work on mobile and desktop?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Android and iOS app covers stock, purchase, sales and production with push notifications and GPS check-in for field visits. The desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux adds USB and thermal printing, which matters at a POS counter or a dispatch desk.

What do support and training look like?

Unnati Academy ships with the product: over 200 interactive lessons that walk a new user through the real screens rather than a PDF manual. Support is reachable by email and WhatsApp during Indian business hours, and the support page explains what to include so a ticket is resolved on the first reply.
