Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Aavishkruti collects when you use Unnati or this website, why we hold it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

1. Who we are
Aavishkruti builds and operates Unnati, a cloud ERP for Indian businesses. Our office is in Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382470, India.
In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Aavishkruti. "You" means either a visitor to this website or a person who uses Unnati through an organisation that subscribes to it.
2. Two different relationships
When you fill in a form on this website, we decide why your details are held and we are responsible for them directly.
When your employer subscribes to Unnati, that organisation decides what data goes into the system and who may see it. We process that data on their instructions, under our agreement with them. If you are an employee, customer or vendor of a business that uses Unnati and you want your records changed, ask that business first. We will help them act, and we will not change their records on a stranger’s instruction.
3. What we collect
From website forms: your name, work email address, phone number, company, city, the modules you are interested in and whatever you write in the message box. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation.
From account holders: the name, email address, phone number and role of each user, and the records your organisation chooses to keep in the system, which may include employee, customer and vendor details.
From use of the product: sign-in events, the actions recorded in the audit trail, and technical logs such as the internet address and browser used, which we need to run the service securely and to investigate problems.
From the mobile app, where your organisation has switched the feature on: your position at check-in and check-out for a planned customer visit, and the location log used by the tracking dashboard. Your employer decides whether that feature is used and should tell you before switching it on.
4. Why we hold it
To provide the service your organisation has subscribed to, and to give each user the access their role allows.
To answer enquiries, arrange demonstrations, raise invoices and provide support.
To keep the service secure, investigate misuse, and maintain the audit trail that lets a disputed record be traced.
To meet our own legal and tax obligations in India, including keeping invoices and books for the periods the law requires.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use the contents of a customer’s business records for our own purposes.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website uses what is needed to serve the pages and remember your preferences. Those are necessary for it to work and are not used to track you.
We also use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful, and it sets cookies in your browser. It is off until you allow it. The first time you visit, a bar at the foot of the page asks; nothing analytics-related loads, and no analytics cookie is set, unless and until you choose “Allow analytics”. Choosing “No thanks” is remembered too, and costs you nothing — the site behaves identically either way.
You can change your mind whenever you like. Clearing the choice makes the bar ask again, and declining then stops any further measurement. We have asked Google to anonymise IP addresses, and we do not use analytics for advertising, ad personalisation or audience selling.
The Unnati application itself uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences. Those are necessary for the product to work.
6. Who else sees the data
Our hosting and infrastructure providers, who store and serve the data on our instructions.
Our messaging provider, Setu, where your organisation has enabled email or WhatsApp messages from Unnati.
The National Informatics Centre systems, where you generate an e-invoice IRN or an e-way bill, because that is how those documents are issued in India.
Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required by Indian law to disclose something. We will tell the affected organisation unless we are prohibited from doing so.
We do not give any of these parties permission to use your data for their own purposes.
7. Where the data is kept
Unnati is a cloud application, and where it runs is a deployment choice. For Indian customers we deploy into an Indian region. If your contract requires a specific region, agree it with us in writing before you subscribe.
Our security page sets out the controls we operate, including encryption in transit, role and permission based access and the hash-chained audit trail.
8. How long we keep it
Enquiry details from this website are kept while we are in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up where we left off.
Customer data is kept for as long as the subscription runs. On termination you may export your data through the Import and Export Data screen. After that we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where Indian law requires us to retain invoices and accounting records for longer.
9. Your rights
Subject to Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it as they come into force, you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to erase it where we have no lawful reason to keep it, and complain about how we have handled it.
If the data sits inside an organisation’s Unnati account, we will forward your request to that organisation and support them in acting on it, because it is their record rather than ours.
Write to privacy@aavishkruti.com and tell us what you want. We will acknowledge your request and respond within the period Indian law allows. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may take the matter to the authority appointed under Indian data protection law.
10. Children
Unnati is business software and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child. If you believe a child’s data has reached us, write to privacy@aavishkruti.com and we will remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page and, where the change matters, tell account holders directly. We will not make a change retrospective.
