POS and restaurant

A counter that bills fast and posts straight to your books

The billing counter is not a separate business. Here it is the same one, seen from the till.

In short

Unnati runs outlets, counters and cashier sessions for retail and restaurants. Orders move from the table to the kitchen display as a KOT, bills carry the GST breakup, and every sale posts into the same ledger the rest of the business uses. Loyalty points, coupons, offers, happy hours and a khata-style customer balance are built in.

How it works

A counter that is already part of the books

A till that does not talk to stock and the ledger creates two evenings of work: one at the counter and one in accounts. Here the bill is the stock movement and the posting.

The counter and the books agree by defaultThere is no end-of-day export, because there is nothing to export to.
A short till is visible the same nightCounted versus system, per session and per cashier.
Stock moves on the billBy recipe in a kitchen, so consumption of raw material is real rather than estimated monthly.

  1. From the table to the kitchen and back

An order taken at a table appears on the kitchen display as a KOT with the notes the guest gave.

  2. Promotions and loyalty that finance can still read

Coupons, offers and happy hours are configured with their own rules and validity, and loyalty points are earned and redeemed on rules you set.

  3. Recipes that move real stock

When a dish is sold, its recipe consumes the ingredients from stock rather than reducing a single menu item.

Built for India

A bill your customer and your auditor both accept

A counter bill is still a GST document, and treating it as one from the start saves the reconciliation later.

GST breakup on the bill, driven by the tax master and the HSN on the item
Sales post to the ledger as they happen, so POS revenue is in the trial balance without an import
Khata-style running balances for regular customers who settle weekly or monthly
Offline billing and a mobile POS are on the roadmap; today the counter needs a connection
Questions

POS and Restaurant: what buyers ask

No. Billing needs a connection today. Offline billing is on the roadmap, and we would rather you knew that now than found out during a power cut. Many outlets run the desktop app on a wired connection with a local printer, which is the most stable setup we can recommend at present.
