Stock and warehouse

Inventory software that keeps every batch and bin honest

One stock ledger across every godown, bin and batch — from the inward GRN to the delivery challan.

In short

Unnati's Stock module tracks every item, batch and bin across your godowns in real time. It records inward stock against a GRN, holds material in QC until it passes, values landed cost, runs cycle counts, and raises reorder alerts before a line stops. Stock history shows who moved what, and when.

How it works

From the gate to the godown, as one record

Stock is not a spreadsheet that someone updates in the evening. Each step below writes to the same stock ledger, so the balance on screen is the balance in the bin.

What happensThe item master carries HSN, unit of measure, batch rule and reorder level. What it carries inSet once. Every document after this reads the item from here.
And all of this is already true
Stock, batch and bin are liveNot a figure from last night — the balance updates on the same write as the document.
The ledger already has the valueLanded cost, weighted average and the stock account move with the material.
Traceability is one searchWhich lot went to which customer is a query, not an afternoon in a file room.
Reorder fires before a line stopsPer item and per warehouse, against the balance the system already holds.

  1. Batches that survive the whole document chain

A batch number in Unnati is not a note typed into a remarks box.

  2. Counts, bins and reorder points that keep the floor moving

Full physical stock-taking stops the godown for a day, so most teams avoid it and the books drift.

  3. Landed cost and pricing, so the margin is real

A consignment costs more than the vendor bill.

Built for India

The stock records a GST audit asks for

Indian stock questions are rarely about quantity alone. They are about which lot, on which document, moving in which vehicle, under which HSN. Unnati stores those together.

HSN and unit of measure on the item master, carried onto every invoice line
Godown-wise balances per branch, so a state-wise position is a filter and not a spreadsheet
The batch printed on the tax invoice and the delivery challan, not only in the stock ledger
Vehicle details recorded at dispatch for the e-way bill raised from Sales

The modules this one talks to

Unnati is one database, so these are not integrations. They are the same records seen from another screen.

Questions

Stock Management: what buyers ask

Yes. You can create as many warehouses as you need per branch, with bins inside each one, and see the live balance for any combination. Transfers between godowns are recorded as movements, so the stock history shows the full path of an item rather than only its current resting place.
